As a prosper part of urban mobility, the urban logistic is a facet of the logistic relevant mobility need of inhabitants in modern cities. Center point of the USEfUL-Project is the identification, simulation and evaluation of future- and target-oriented solutions for urban logistics. Focus of research of the engineering faculty is the detection and analysis of logistic driving cycles as well as the determination and balancing of emissions and energy demands. The faculty for business and computer science is responsible for simulation, application development, developmental process, quality management, business processes and logistic concepts.
